At the Rudny Industrial Institute, elements of dual training are introduced into the educational process of students. Dual training provides not only theoretical knowledge in the process of mastering the educational program in the educational institution, but also practical knowledge, skills and abilities in real production. Students of the 2nd year of the educational program “Mineral extraction” performed laboratory work on the discipline “Physics of rocks” in the Technical Control Department of the Factory of ore dressing and enrichment of the Industrial complex of JSC SSGPO .

In the laboratory “Studies of enrichment processes” of JSC SSGPO students got acquainted with the methods of preparing ore samples for analysis. Preparation of ore was carried out by its crushing in a rotary crusher, screening on an inertial screen and subsequent crushing in ball mills. After that the crushed product passed a stage of hydraulic electromagnetic classification. The resulting iron ore concentrate is sent to the chemical analysis laboratory. This method is used at SSGPO to control the quality of ore coming to the plant.
Our students actively participated in the processes of sample preparation, studied the principle of laboratory equipment operation. Undoubtedly, performing laboratory work in the walls of the enterprise, our students get valuable experience, which allows them to successfully position themselves in the labor market in the future.
