Currently, it can be stated that the cooperation of RII with JSC “SSGPO” is reaching a qualitatively new level of development

At present, it can be stated that the cooperation between RII and SSGPO JSC is reaching a new level of development. Significant results in carrying out joint work have been achieved: the Expert Council for accreditation of students’ practical skills functions; public defense of students’ graduation projects with the participation of the heads of the enterprise is held; laboratories and specialized classrooms reflecting the production activities of the association are equipped; branches at the enterprise are opened; internships for teachers of the Institute in JSC SSGPO are organized; association specialists participate in the preparation of new educational programs of the university, etc.

In May 2023 at the meeting of Expert Council held by Iron Ore Division together with ERG Service and BTS students of 10 educational programs of our institute were accredited. To assess the practical skills of students were invited leading experts of enterprises. The evaluation was held in two stages: testing, which included 10 professional questions and 5 IQ questions, as well as a face-to-face interview with the committee members. The students who successfully completed all the tasks were awarded certificates and souvenirs. The certificates obtained are decisive in the process of entering the job market, since the students are automatically hired by ERG companies after graduation. The results of the students’ practical skills accreditation are also taken into account when evaluating professional practice, which they undergo during the summer period at the enterprises of the region.
