INTEGRITY
INTEGRITY
Integrity is the formation of an anti–corruption model of behavior in Kazakh society, including among students. It is based on the preservation and strengthening of a system of values reflecting intolerance to corruption, the desire to comply with legislation, and improving the educational and cultural level of RIU students. Integrity should become the spiritual core of the nation, the norm of life in a progressive society. Youth is the basic driving force of Kazakhstan‘s future, a worthy replacement for older generations.
The formation of integrity among students begins with each student‘s awareness of their responsibility for their own actions and their consequences. This may include following the rules of the RIU Code of Academic Integrity, respecting others, and striving for personal development. In addition, it is important that the university administration and the teaching staff also take an active part in creating a positive and respectable atmosphere. Corruption in education is seriously hindering progress. It undermines the principles of fairness, honesty and equal opportunities, creating unequal conditions for students‘ learning and development. Combating corruption in education is necessary to create a fair and effective educational process. Honesty is the foundation of trust and respect in society and in the learning environment in particular. It helps to create a healthy atmosphere in which every student can develop and achieve their goals without deceiving themselves and others.
