On 20 April 2023, the work of Section № 4 “Mining and Metallurgical Complex of Kazakhstan, new challenges and trends of development”

On 20 April 2023, the work of Section № 4 “Mining and Metallurgical Complex of Kazakhstan, new challenges and trends of development” of the International Scientific Conference of young scientists, undergraduates, students and pupils“The native land is the basis of all endeavors of the young generation.». It was attended by 45 people,including undergraduates of the RII, students of Rudny Mining and Technology College and students of schools in Rudny.

There were 26 reports announced for the section. In accordance with the program, 19 reports were heard.

The presented reports discussed the problems connected with the development of new innovative technologies for the iron ore pits of JSC “SSGPO”, the stressed state of soils under the action of a rigid solid foundation, the application of radiometric method in the mining industry and the possibility of using drones to control mining operations. The issue of improving the quality of machining austenitic steel, through the introduction of high-pressure torsion technology was considered .

According to the results of the discussion of the heard reports, the jury decided to award:

1st place – Timur Tleukenov, a master’s student of Mining industry-22 group of RII;

2nd place – Syrlybayev Alikhan, a master’s student of Mining industry-22M RII group;

3rd place – Itetsova Anara, a student of group Mining-20.
