Teachers of Rudny Industrial Institute took part in the 17th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE “RUSSIAN REGIONS IN THE FOCUS OF TRANSFORMATION”
The Russian Regions in Focus of Change conference is the largest business event in the Urals, dedicated to regional development in the context of global economic trends. Over 30 discussion sessions and panel discussions annually cover key trends in the digital economy, cluster and smart ecosystem design for territories, urban development, industry issues, and much more. The conference’s organisers are: Ural Federal University, Institute of Economics and Management Ural Federal University, Russian Association of Business Education , Analytical Center “Expert” and the magazine “Expert-Ural”.
Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Ph.D. Bozhko L. spoke at the round table “Creative Reindustrialization of Second-Tier Cities in the Context of Digital Transformation. In particular, she discussed the implementation of the Concept of Development of Creative Industries in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the problems of revitalization of problematic areas through the development of creative entrepreneurship.
Scientists at the Rudna Industrial Institute have been conducting research on the creative reindustrialisation of single-industry towns in Kazakhstan for several years, and participation in the international conference was certainly an opportunity to exchange experiences on these issues.
